인도 델리의 붉은성 안에서. 지금 보니 옷이 엉망이로다. 부라자끈이 민망하게 보이지를 않나, 티셔츠는 탄자니아에서 산 마후라를 대충 둘러서 옷핀으로 고정시킨 것이고, 치마는 3by3by3 티셔츠를 잘라서 만든 것. 그러고보니 참으로 sustainable하기도 하다!!!! 환경친화적인 스겍군이라 불러달라!!!! 연수가 찍은 사진들이라 항상 사진에 연수가 없었는데 첫번째 사진은 성 안에서 만난 한국인들이 찍어준 것이라 연수가 등장! 예에~~~!!! [photo by Austin and one anonymous korean guy]

think I have to explain about the pictures I am posting coz guess other international people wont be able to figure out what they are... probably some people can guess they are the photos taken during my semi world travel though... so here is it. the pictures seen above were taken inside the Red Fort located in old Delhi, India on 24th, June, 2008, which was the day before my birthday!!!! hahha! it's always good to remind people of when my birthday is. kkkk. the girl in the middle in the first pic is the doctor girl who is working really hard back in south korea now and she is Austin, the photographer of almost all the pics posted here. another girl I was photoing in the last pic is my brave buddy with the spirit of freedom and great enthusiasm for life.
by the way, I had lunch with Sharon and Eunji today. Eunji is kinda my best korean friend in holland according to my definition (hahha!) and Sharon is a singapore girl who I dont really know but do know she is a girl friend of one korean frined of mine and her english pronunciation is somewhat challenging to completely understand. but anyway, after having some good time with those two, I found that Sharon is really nice and open-minded person. still I had sort of hard time to understand her whatever saying. overall, it was truely lovely time. and I see why sharon has so many friends around her. so, Pat, you should meet her some time later personally with lunch or dinner or whatsoever, of course together with me, then you will certainly love her I bet. :-)
p.s: and I still cannot find any comment from you!!!! how come are you so stingy about this?!!!!! boooooooo =3=

old delhi에서 Jama Masjid라는 mosque랑 red fort에 갔었더랬다. 이동하는 동안 길거리 사람들때문에 꽤나 계속 신경이 날카로워져 있었던 것이 기억난다. 특히나 jama masjid 올라갔을 때는 어쩐지 기분나쁠 정도로 쳐다보는 현지인들 때문에 완전 신경이 곤두섰었더랬다. 볼거리가 아무리 많았어도 역시 불쾌한 기억이 남아있는 터라 사실 다시 델리 가고 싶다는 생각은 들지 않는다. 그러나!!! red fort안에서 마셨던 lassi는 인도에서 마셨던 가장 맛있는 라시 중에 하나였다. 신나 죽겠다는 마지막 사진 표정을 보라!!! 델리, 인도에 처음 도착해서 길거리에 수많은 인파와 소떼들에 치이고, 널려있는 소똥, 사람똥들에 스트레스받고, 쪄죽을 것만 같은 숨막히는 더위에 말그대로 죽을 것만 같아서 길거리 걸으면서는 표정이 뭐 씹은 표정. 처음으로 그럴싸한 레스토랑에 들어가서 에어콘 바람을 맞으면서는 좀 즐거워져서 그럭저럭 살겠다는 표정. 하하하. 이때 먹었던 탄두리 치킨이 제일 맛있었던 것만 같이 기억되는 것은 역시 에어콘의 파워인가!!! [photo by Austin]
내일이랑 모레랑 또 휴일이다. Ascension day와 free day. 5월은 참으로 휴일이 많다. 덕분에 늘어지는 날들도 많고 늘어졌다가 다시 빠짝 공부하고 일하려면 모드 전환이 잘 안되서 버리는 시간들도 많은 것 같다. 쳇. 그래도 휴일은 항상 좋아!!!! 불만 없어!!!!!!
by the way, there was one complaint about this korean-only blogging from my best just best buddy (that some people know for sure who s/he is and others dont even take a wild guess, hahha!). so I decided to chitchat a bit in english, too. What a good, thoughtful person I am!!! hahha!!! although the main purpose of this website is to keep in touch with my mom, sis, bro, and other buddies back in south korea, I would also like not to ignore my english-speaking friends. I have known only one person so far, though. sadly, at the moment, I dont know what to say here -_-;;; coz simply translating the korean writing above is not what I think of as a cool thing to do.... hmm... let me think about something good... hmm... no luck here... -_-;;;; guess I need some more time in order to write anything super fantastic awesome in english. hahha! but!!! but!!! I was reading the dlibert future on the train from hague to delft after my part time work today. and found something cool to share. this is it.

obviously, if youre a woman and youre trying to decide which evolutiouary track you want your offspring to take, you dont want to put them on the luge ride to the dung-flinging olympics. you want a real man. you want a knowledgeable computer user with evolutionary potential.
and women prefer men who are good listeners. computer users are excellent listeners, because they can look at you for long periods of time without saying anything. granted, early on in a relationship it's better if the guy actually talks, but men are not deep. we use up all the stories we'll ever have after six months. if a woman marries a guy who's in, let's say, a retail sales carrer, she'll get repeat stories starting in the seventh month and lasting forever. but if she marries an engineer, she gets a great listener for the next seventy years.
with the ozone layer evaporating, it's good strategy to mate with somebody who has an indoor hobby. outdoorsy men are applying suntan lotion with SPF 10,000 and yet, by the age of thirty, they still look like dried chili peppers with pants. compare that with the healthy glow of a man who spends twelve hours a day in front of a video screen.
and it's a well-established fact that computer users are better lovers. I know this is true, because I heard an actual anecdote from somebody who knew a woman who married a computer user. they reportedly had sex many times. I realized this isnt statistically valid, but you have to admit it's the most persuasive thing Ive written so far.

델리, 인도에 처음 도착한 날. 싸우쓰 아메리카, 싸우쓰 아프리카를 거쳐서 드디어 마지막 주여행지인 인도. 볼리비아에서 산 차랑고를 들고, 브라질에서 산 가방을 매고, 남아공에서 만난 왕언니가 준 바지를 입고, 탄자니아에서 산 샌달을 신고, 온 동네들을 돌면서 그을린 피부를 가지고, 마음은 새롭게. 그렇게 인도 여행을 시작했더랬다. 언제 또 이렇게 건강, 에너지 그 자체일 수 있을까 싶다. 걷고 또 걷고 또 걸어도 하루 종일 지치지 않을 것만 같았던 순간. [photo by Austin]

다람살라, 티벳 망명정부가 있는 작은 산골 마을. 동네길, 산길만 걷고 있어도 경치가 아름다워서 마냥 좋았더랬다. 티벳 사찰을 찾아가는 길에 티벳 문자와 티벳 독립을 기원하는 여행자들의 흔적이 가득. 빙빙 돌리면서 행운을 기원하는 저것은... 으음.... 뭐라고 부르는 건지 까먹었다..... 요가도 살짝 배워봤는데 한국에서 배우는 것과 다를 바는 전혀 찾을 수 없었다. (글치만 요가 가르쳐주는 아저씨가 엄청난 배불뚝이 뚱보여서 살짝 깜딱. 인도에서 요가 가르쳐주는 싸부는 우리나라처럼 쭉쭉빵빵 미녀가 아니구나...) 저때 당시에 얼굴에 항상 허옇게 썬크림을 잔뜩 바르고 다녔어서 뭐, 뭐냐, 그 얼굴과 목 사이의 엄청난 색깔 차이는!!! 하는 연수 얘기를 들으면서 아힝~ 지까짓게 차이나봤자~ 하고 생각하고 있었는데 지금 사진들 보니까 얼굴만 하얗게 동동. 스포트라이트 받은 것 같구나. 하하하하하하. 그러고보니 여행다닐때는 항상 많이 걷고 많이 뛰고 많이 운동하고 잘 먹고 잘 자고 완전 지나칠 정도로 건강한 느낌이었는데 요새 생활이란... =_=;;; 어여 빨리 시험 기간이 끝나고 좀 더 규칙적이고 건강한 생활을 할 수 있었으면 좋겠다. 흐음... 사실 시험기간이라고 해서 건강한 생활을 못 할 이유도 딱히 없는데 이 정신적으로 바쁜 느낌이란 것이 규칙적이고 아름다운 생활을 방해하는구나. 히유...[photo by Austin]
